Got it to keep track of people so I can learn names. I don’t want to add them to my contacts. However when you take pics with your phone or import they are so huge and there is no way to edit in the app. A database doesn’t need 15 megapixel photos. So if there was a simple cropping feature and file size reduction it would make the program useful to me. Presently i need to remember to do all editing first and then import. Would love to take pic, import and name. Then later edit and reduce picture file sizes when i am not busy with clients.

Does everything it says
Have been using iDatabase for a few months and it works as advertised. I use this app for all my contacts instead of the iOS contact list(which is “harvested” by Social media. ) as a password vault. Those are the 2 main uses for me.

Field errors/overwrites
I’ve been using this app for a few years now, largely successfully. However, in the past few weeks I’ve had copy/paste operations within text fields randomly overwrite text field contents with unrelated data from other records. There’s no ‘undo’ or recovery to previous saved version of the records / data. Those fields’ contents are now lost. I hope that this bug report results in fixes and possibly feature additions (undo!) Jan 6/19 update - the same errors remain, and continue to randomly ruin my data. Looks like I’ll want to migrate over to another app.

Not overly big into reading, but this app is great. I actually find myself reading more and keeping track of it a lot easier. The ability to scan a code or search a book, add it to preset or custom shelves, and have all the info on each of the books including reviews is beyond amazing. It works. But developer has no concept of 'style'
It works. But definitely lacking in "style" despite the developer's claims. The data set entry has an utterly horrific truly bare bones GUI. Which is contrasted by a pretty decent GUI on the database definition. If the made the data set manipulation look more like the definition section, it would be a vast improvement. Also somewhat lacking in data calculation. (cannot do calculations with date or time.) However considering the price, if you just need a simple DB, this is a decent choice.

Just needs a couple of tweaks. It would be nice to make sub categories, add more than one image per field, more font control ( bold,color,etc.) and in choose field, the ability to choose multiple fields.also, could you left align the fields to make room for entering info.
