Much better
Update: I had some ongoing issues with the app (see below) but over time the problems have been fixed/addressed, and the support is much improved. Old: When it works well this is a fair app. But buyer beware: back everything up because receipts will occasionally disappear with no trace and expect crickets if you request support. Also the app and the website are sometimes not synchronized. If this was a way to track songs or movies it would be fine, but for personal finance the stakes are too high for this level of glitchiness.

Using this for 10+ years
This app is trash. I feel terrible for not having switched sooner. Nothing scans correctly and things stay in queue forever. Wild to pay $9.99 a month for so long and there are few if any upgrades. I end up manually entering and still it stays unprocessed. Not even sure why I’ve been paying them when I need to do all the work at this point. There’s a ton of burgeoning tech, so buyer beware and look for better.

Great Upgrade!
I’ve used Shoeboxed for years and have always liked it. I use it mostly for miles. With the upgrade, I don’t have to name my trips because the app makes note of where I’ve been. I only have to tell it if the miles are business, medical, or charity, and the app takes care of the rest. No more dropping a pin every time I get out of the car. (No more forgetting to drop that pin.) I will say, on the small downside, that a couple of my trips have been short changed by a couple of miles, with the app pointing to a location I didn’t stop at, before I got to my destination. Download and deleted in a matter of 30 minutes. I made a typo when entering an expense category and come to find out there is NO way to edit or delete a category. The unwanted category remains indefinitely. Such simple oversight that makes the app unusable.

Latest version is all but useless.
The app used to work. I’ve been a customer for over 10 years and I’m sorry to see an app with this poor implementation. While I may be on an old and slow phone iPhone 7, I am uptodate on iOS and other apps work fine. This is so slow it takes over 4 minutes to post one receipt. I’ve already lost interest by them, lost the receipt and wish I could lose the phone.

Bad changes
Until the recent updates, this was a great app. The new updates have slowed it down tremendously, the pictures now stay on the phone, and they import in all which directions (upside down, sideways). I’d love to go back to the old app or correct the issues with this one please!!!

New App is slooooooow
The revamp looks nice but takes several seconds to load screens, save changes, etc. It also takes days to finish syncing. This is probably due to having receipts since 2005. The old one only loaded what was needed and performed all tasks very quickly. I can no longer rely on this app to make changes due to the slow speeds and slow data syncing.

I have used this service for 3 years, always with good results. My CPA and I are both happy! The latest update has a problem, I login and it’s blank, no data. I go to the website and everything is there, no problem. So I tried to check the app settings and it’s also a blank screen. Great service but the new app has an issue. Update; Yes, I had an issue with the new app not working. I contacted the help desk and with in 24 hours they responded, acknowledging that the app had a problem and the working app had replaced it in the App Store. Mileage Tracker DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY
I tried tracking my miles today as I do deliveries with my car. I started tracking then checked after 6 hours and it did not track any of the miles, said I only drove 2.5 miles when I actually did around 30, complete garbage app at the moment. I recommend Stride, used it for 2 years and has worked Amazingly. Was looking for another app and this is not it.
