I use Mobile Mouse constantly, and the latest update is awesome. The ux feels cleaner, the trackpad app performance is stupid good, and setup is basically zero drama: install it on the computer, install it on the phone, and it just works. On Windows, let Bonjour install and make sure it isn’t firewall blocked. The button mapping is the killer feature for me. Being able to map Microsoft PowerToys ZoomIt to real buttons makes this way more useful than a basic remote mouse or trackpad app. It actually feels like a proper iPhone remote control for Mac and Windows. Feature request

I’ve set everything up in under 5 minutes. Despite this app felling a bit dated in terms of UI, it supports latest macOS and iOS very well. One thing though, can we have a control center button and a lock screen button, so we could have quick access to the app right from the lock screen, e.g. to place it instead of a flashlight button, or in the control center. Not what I was hoping for

I was looking for a way to use my iPhone to control my iPad. I assumed because everything was iOS. It would work together, but it does not. This app… As far as I can see… Only works for connecting an iPhone device to an actual PC/Mac. there are all kinds of upgrades for direct connection, but I don’t feel like throwing money down the same hole. I would contact the developer and ask for a refund as this app does not serve the purchases that I was hoping for, but for the price that I paid, I would rather just save the time and avoid the runaround.I’m sure if you were trying to control a desktop

Easy connection and great functionality

I’ve tried a number of similar apps, and most of them have connection issues, and a few that don’t lack the functionality I want. This app was ridiculously easy to connect - first time with absolutely no problems. The functionality and control are excellent. I have both the iPhone and iPad versions, although the iPhone version will work ok on the iPad. However, the iPad version has some extra functionality that was for me with paying for. I used to use Unified remote but the makers of that app have let it degrade and now it has all kinds of connection issues. Avoid that and go with this

Complete FAIL

Tried all the troubleshooting steps - nothing works, it can’t connect no matter what. Some of the troubleshooting steps border on the absurd, e.g. “create an ad-hoc network”… Seriously? So I will have to work offline without internet… just to make the remote work…? This was a complete waste of money. It was supposed to help, but all it did was waste my time and money. Too bad Apple doesn’t allow refunds.

I really appreciate this app, but the media player pause and play on windows 11 is broken and that’s kinda the main reason I bought this app. I appreciate the volume control and mouse function from my Apple Watch and IPhone. It would be cool though if you could use the Apple Watch crown to adjust volume in mousepad mode though

I see a lot of recent reviews with people upset who didn’t read the instructions or don’t understand the basics of setting up the host server application. I purchased this app in 2010. The app for your device is free, but you have to pay to use your iPhone as the mouse, and then pay again if you want to connect via usb. So the problem is that if your computer isn’t already connected to internet, the iPhone app doesn’t work, and you can’t connect to the internet without the iPhone app. $4.98 later…

Server won’t download from site

This app is awesome and I used it years ago on a desktop I had. I’ve been computerless for a few years and got a new laptop. On the site if you click to download the server for windows 7-10 nothing happens. I’ve made sure downloads are enabled for the site and everything. Really wish I could use this app because it is a great app.

Excellent remote mouse app

That I have been using practically since it was released. I have been using this on my windows and Mac machines. There was always a little better integration into macOS than windows. And I am still even running Windows 7 on some PC It seems that the server software for windows is missing a few of the things that are available on Mac, there are less protocols available for PC. Anyway, the iPhone software is now crashing now that I am on iOS 14. This has never happened before. An update is probably warranted.

What no TAB?

Amazing app but how can it get away with leaving out the TAB key? A keyboard customizer would make this app AMAZING and I would give 5 stars. EDIT: the developer responded that double tapping the <Return> key will send a tab. This is not well documented. A visible tab key should be provided.
