can’t start my game after latest updates
I bought this game a few years ago, it was a great game perfect. With or with the Wi-Fi. Lately after the latest update now I can even start the game., I deleted the game download it again, we have a whole bunch of down load files after the game start. Then it has a problem of verifying. After a couple of times of restarting the game, it restarted with glitch. Today I start the game, you stay at the beginning black screen.. Very disappointed.

Good port but…
Missing (changed) the epic music of squad selection. Not a fan of War of the Chosen. If there could be an option to disable / enable expansions and bring back the original soundtrack, would be perfect. As it stands the PC version is far superior with the mods available but this is what’s available on IOS: hope you like vanilla. IOS XCOM:EW > IOS XCOM 2.

XCOM2 is a great game, But I haven’t played it since it came out so I would like to play the vanilla version to get used to it again. Unfortunately this isn’t possible. So for that three stars. It is a fantastic port and I would give it five if I could play the vanilla game without war of the chosen.

Was hoping XCOM 2 would be released on mobile but thought it was a pipe dream. Note here it is and it’s glorious. Runs well on my iPhone 12 Pro albeit with occasional stuttering here and there, but nothing game breaking. The fact this is on mobile at all is incredible. It would be 5 stars for sure except that over the last few weeks especially, it’s started to crash fairly often, mostly on the load out screen prior to a mission. Happens every third mission or so. Double mouse pointer. Unable to play :(
Don’t work with my new iPad Pro 12.9 M1 and my new smart keyboard. When the game start I see a message indicate a mouse found (but I don’t have any mouse only the track pad build in on my smart keyboard). When I try to play I have a pointer for my trackpad and another UNDESIRE pointer (large arrow) for a bad mouse detection. The click and touch with my track pad don’t work correctly. Please fix it or add a settings to disable this false mouse detection.

Pleasantly Surprised!
A superb port of XCOM2 here! Controls are perfect for a mobile touchscreen. Loading times are even insanely faster than the Nintendo Switch version. FPS is smooth as butter on an iPhone 11, and the graphics are still look decent despite being understandably downgraded for mobile! DLC is also included! Great work!

Why doesn’t this game support iPhone 8?
The iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 + both use the Apple A11 Bionic chipset for CPU. They only differ by 1GB of RAM which gets utilized on the 8+ higher display and camera resolutions anyway, so in essence even RAM is the same. Will iPhone 8 support come in the future? I just don’t see why it is not there already and it only seems arbitrary because I cannot see a technical reason for it. If this is your way to appease Apple to get people to buy their new phones, I hope Apple paid you well for it. If not, I sincerely hope you add iPhone 8 support to this game, as I’d love to play it (already have on
