I am really disappointed for them service I request for money transfer receipt from 2016 to 2023 they never provide me that. That’s very important for me. Someone told me I need to submit written request whatever they told I did many times I send email for my transaction receipt but nobody give me that . I never gonna use it send money anymore

It’s has been more than a month but issue not resolved I have sent 9 emails and have called them 11 or more times every time people who pick up the phone they says they have forwarded my concern to technical team they are working on it no one cares , so before using them make sure fund you want to send are for NOT any emergency reasons like hospital expenses of family or any other family emergency or EMI of loan as for sure you will miss it

I called the placid customer service center regarding an issue, instead of listening to my problem the person was giving me instructions where to email. This app is really good and provides a very competitive rates when compared with other providers. But the customer service is very pathetic and not customer centric. They don't mind the customer satisfaction. Here is my experiecne: I am a customer since last 5 years and now my account restricted from transfer due to cancellation of a recent transfer before the funds are deducted from my account. When I approached customer service, they said to upload several documents and I did. I was told that I will receive an email with the details. Pathetic service and intentionally hold money for 6 days after withdrawal of money from us account

Service is pathetic and no privacy and data protection. You can expect to get call from anyone and ask for your personal information. There is no proper channel for verification. Even being a customer you might be put on hold for transfers for days without intimation about what they are waking for. Better to get away and use other providers who responds better way. This app looks for access like balance, transactions which is none of their business.

Can’t delete account

This app is very intrusive if you like your checking account. You also can’t close or delete account. They keep your private information and possibly share it, if you didn’t out. The 10 dollar referral is a lie also. My wife sent me the link to signup and she didn’t receive anything. To top it off, the money i sent to her was cancelled after after 3 hours of her waiting for the payment i sent her. The reason for cancellation was that we had two accounts in the same household. Scam, don’t install.

This is one of those apps that tries to lure you in with a good new user exchange rate. Everything goes downhill after you start the money transfer. No details are needed to initiate a transaction but the customer support team from India will call you on the phone and ask for personal details like wire transfer document, screenshots of your bank account, and other personal details. They’ve found a loop hole to hide all the original reviews that complain about the stuff they are doing and they’ve had fake reviews written and marked as helpful so that they show up first when you install the app.

Trying to send money to my mother in law over seas for an operation and they are holding the money and having me verify my identity and then saying it will go through in 5 minutes but still showed pending after 15 minutes. I don’t usually write reviews but this is a really bad site/app to use. After waiting for couple of days, your transaction will get canceled without any notice. Called customer service multiple times, they said I had to send an email so I did, they never responded. They have the rudest customer service agents. Extremely RUDE. They yell at you, be sarcastic, and not even fix anything. They will also hang up in your face just so you know.

They are a Scam

Placid is a scam. Not using this anymore and do not recommend transferring using Placid to anyone. Refund takes forever. When the mode of payment is ACH they deduct from your bank almost immediately, but when they have to refund a cancelled transaction which is also an ACH it takes 15+ days (5-7days written in terms). Work on your policies to better aid a customer instead of cheating/scamming them or shut off your company. Will not be around for long.
