Fix the rolling issue - bring back stack 5
Deleting this app until they add stack five back in. The “random” rolling feels anything but. Consistently rolls against player in the lead right as they’re about to claim victory. It’s actually laughable during some games. I’ve been on both the bitter end of that scenario and the benefiting end, but either way it’s frustrating. yes, I realize that rolling real dice is random and any number can come up… but play this enough and you start to see the pattern is happening far too regularly to be random. Please, bring back stack five as an option, so at least if you’re losing/winning all the roll

The game is really fun. The only problems I have had so far are as follows: First; You must have an account to play for any extra content you paid for, if not you could lose your account. I did the guest account and then paid for the game but put yahoo email instead of gmail account so I lost all progress and paid for content. Second; I see post about crashes and people cannot reconnect most times. This is true and must be fixed. You can be in a game then you crash or you’re stuck on an infinite turn swap phase in game. This app has been glitchy for some time, particularly with creating a game with friends. They have been patching it and improving it for sure, but I am unable to do online play with more than 3 other friends, which kinda stinks. I want to like the app because I love the board game, but it only works about 20% of the time. The other 80%, it has the same glitches making it unplayable as it had five years ago. I check in every once in a while to see if it’s gotten better, and these continue to be a problem after all this time: 1.) AI trade is broken. AI will offer the same trade 10+ times and it doesn’t matter how you respond. You can accept and they’ll just offer again. You can reject, they’ll just offer again. And they have no turn timer, so it just goes on and on until you have to block trade and hope the system ends

Now the crash remedy of exiting, closing the App and re-entering to continue the existing game seems to have been removed. For years these games hang up occasionally (at least the 1 person ones, because they never fixed keeping properly track of sequencing between game action and user input. I am an avid Catan fan and love playing, but this app has never made me more frustrated while playing. You will spend most games with a robber on your hex 70-80% of the time whether you are winning or losing, your ONE resource in your hand that you struggled to get WILL be taken from you “randomly” almost every time the robber inevitably lands on you, and a 7 will almost immediately be rolled as soon as you cross over the maximum allowed limit. I just started playing this app last month but have been a Catan player since 2010. It’s one of my game night favorites. I love this App’s graphics and ease of use. While playing online is nice because it is more realistic with trading, sometimes I just don’t have the patience to wait between turns. I haven’t had the connection problems that others complain about but did have the dice issue which seems to be resolved now. AI is nice because you can speed up the turns and finish a game in 15 minutes! My only complaint is that the AI should be programmed to not trade with itself as much. In some

I’ve been playing this game for a while with friends but after the recent update there have been so many ongoing glitches that they make it unplayable. All of us are currently stuck in the “Rejoin” screen every time we try to log on to play. This happened after one of our players was booted from the game. Now none of us can play at all. I don’t understand how you can have a phone app where you have to pay to play only for it to start glitching and games can’t end. Enhancing the login screen and menu is not an upgrade. The more important things to address were not improved at all. The game is still glitchy, the blocklists don’t work and sadly you have to play with foul mouthed and unsporting behavior again and again because the block list doesn’t work. The Feb 2026 update seem to eliminate online free game play. Don’t know if this was intentional, but if it remains I will end up uninstalling the app.I have a strong background in statistics and can say with confidence that, the random dice generator is broken. I am a Diamond rated player and my first experiences with the newly released upgrades is very disappointing. My settings are set to 3 to 4 players and I have been put in six player games the first two times. My first game, we lost a player and a bot took over. My complaint is that the scores don’t always work. For example the last two games I played: The points stated on the rule/legend card state that you get 2 points per every city piece, however it awards you only one point per city piece.
