I honestly don’t know how they managed to take such a brilliant board game and turn it into this mess. The Catan Universe app is a masterclass in how not to design a mobile game. First off, the UI is an absolute nightmare. It’s cluttered, unintuitive, and looks like it was designed in 2012 and never updated. Want to trade? Good luck figuring that out before the timer runs out. Want to see your cards clearly? Too bad—everything is buried behind confusing menus and tiny icons. The game crashes more than a drunk driver in a demolition derby. Lag, freezes, disconnections—this app has it all. And
