So my only complaints are: 1, if I’m at 1750 for my trophy wins and I’m playing rookie like on the back nine and I’ve played 1400 total games, I cannot win in the top 50%, the people that keep coming in first place and lower places after that may have the same many trophies like 1750 but they have played 36,964 total games that would seem to me that even their trophy number is lower that they have a lot more experience and no wonder they keep winning first place. Not sure that there aren't algorithms that impact where the shot goes. Don't feel as though the shots from the clubs are consistent. One shot might roll forever while another shot stops well short of the spot that was intended based on previous experience and outcomes with said club. Would be a great game if you could earn coins instead of having to watch thousands of ads then to go play and get matched with players who are 100+ levels above you and constantly hit hole in ones to take all your coins just so you have to watch more ads to keep playing. The gameplay is actually pretty good but EA in it’s typical fashion has destroyed the game with pay to win dynamics. The only way to unlock clubs and upgrades is through “chests”. These chests are won in matches. Problem is they have ridiculously long “unlock” periods after winning them. I’ve been playing this game for 3 to 4 years and it has been enjoyable. Unfortunately, for some reason, the game developers thought it was a good idea to put stupid ads on signs that are on the side of the fairway. You can’t see him when you tee off but if you happen to land in front of one it blocks your shot. This has nothing to do with the game and makes it extremely frustrating. I’ve been playing off and on since 2016. It was an enjoyable game for awhile as long as you never needed customer support. Like all games, the support is mostly automated, and if you do get to chat with a live person, it is always someone who does not speak the same language as myself, so there are communication breakdowns. Great game overall except for the fact that every time I purchase a bundle that has a lot of gems, I get scammed and they don’t get added to the account. Matchmaking is based solely on the amount of trophies players have. I originally rated this a 5 star. It’s a highly addictive game. But the competition model is very poor. I’ve been playing for four days now and am at a Rookie 1 level. In tour play I am constantly matched against Pro or Master level players who have obviously been playing for weeks and months.
