Das neueste Update hat die App eher kaputt gemacht. Nach zwei Tagen in Benutzung muss man feststellen das man mehr mit Abbrüchen durch „fehlerhafte Internet“ Verbindungen zu tun hat. Diese App ermöglicht einem, durch die Rollenspiele, auch die Sprache zu trainieren, wenn man keine Englisch sprechenden Personen im Bekanntenkreis hat. Sie hat in diesem Bereich meines Erachtens nur noch ein Problem, welches gelöst werden sollte. Der gesprochene Text sollte im Nachgang editierbar sein. Wenn man etwas nicht richtig ausgesprochen hat, oder die KI es vielleicht auch nicht richtig verstanden hat, geht das Rollenspiel aufgrund der Fehl Interpretation in eine falsche Richtung. Gut hat aber Luft nach oben
Ich bin mir als nicht sicher ob die Aussprache richtig erkennt. Ich denke oft, das klingt so so wie es mir vorgelesen wird, aber kreidet das falsch an. Einmal habe ich ein falsches Wort oder eins weg gelassen, war aber dennoch grün. Macht dennoch Spass. Pro: Es gibt auch eine Lifetime Mitgliedschaft. Ist etwas versteckt und kann man nur via Link in einer E-Mail erwerben Con: Es gibt Bücherlernihalte, die müssen extra bezahlt werden. Leider ist die App extrem träge geworden, die Auswertung der gesprochenen Worte/Sätze dauert oft mehrere Minuten. Teilweise muss man Lektionen neu starten und von Vorn beginnen. Das ist frustrierend und Zeitraubend. In diesem Zustand ist diese App nicht zu empfehlen, das ging schon mal besser.

Great app for improving pronunciation with improvement potential
I’ve been using the app as a pro lifetime member for a couple of years now. My experience is that this is one of the best and most interactive way out there to improve you pronunciation and I’m really grateful for how much it helped me improve my pronunciation! Though since 2 years I’ve reached a point of proficiency where I’ll get on average 90% correct pronunciation in the advanced mode and I just couldn’t reach higher proficiency in this time. Ich nutze die App seit mindestens einem Jahr und war am Anfang sehr begeistert. Leider stürzt die Anwendung in den letzten Monaten ständig ab und läuft sehr instabil, die Auswertung der Aussprechen dauert eine Ewigkeit und funktioniert oft gar nicht. Es war früher auf jeden Fall besser! Ich hoffe, der Entwickler unternimmt endlich etwas gegen die Probleme!

Die Übungen machen Spaß und sind gut gewählt. Auch das Feedback ist sehr hilfreich. Dennoch nur 3 Sterne, weil man bei jeder zweiten Übung die Rückmeldung erhält, dass es länger dauert, die Ergebnisse zu verarbeiten und man dann erneut aufnehmen kann. Das nervt so, dass ich mein Abo bereue und es nicht verlängern werde.

Die App bietet sehr effektive Methoden, um mit Spaß Englisch zu lernen. Leider ist es schon wieder so, dass ich in dem Certificate Course, welchen ich aktuell bearbeite (IELTS by Harper Collins mit 170 Aufgaben) wieder nicht weiterarbeiten kann, da sich nichts tut, wenn ich auf „Continue“ tippe. Das ist nicht das erste Mal und super ärgerlich und ein Krampf für alle, die eine Lernroutine etabliert haben oder etablieren wollen und die Gebühr für das Jahresabo bereits gezahlt haben. Immer wieder technische Probleme
Leider muss ich sagen, dass die App immer wieder aufs Neue harkt, was es leider unmöglich macht, eine Lektion vernünftig am Stück abzuschließen. Es ist wirklich sehr nervig und frustrierend, wenn man immer wieder rausfliegt. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass diese Probleme bald mal behoben werden. Es ist echt schade um die 170€ im Jahr.

An sich eine tolle App. Unglaublich, wie die KI einen unterstützen kann. Leider kommt immer wieder ein „unknown Network error“ bei der Spracheingabe bei vielen Lektionen. Ich habe die Premium-Version der Elsa App für ca. 100 Euro gekauft und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Die App bietet eine Vielzahl abwechslungsreicher Lektionen, die wirklich dabei helfen, Englisch zu lernen. Besonders hilfreich finde ich, dass Elsa erkennt, wie man einzelne Buchstaben und Wörter ausspricht. Das macht sie zu einem großartigen Tool, um die eigene Aussprache zu verbessern. Mikrofon funktioniert nicht, App unbrauchbar
Die App macht zunächst einen sehr guten Eindruck. Eine Nutzung mit einem iPhone 12 Pro und schnellem WLAN /Internet ist aber nicht möglich. Zu Anfang funktionierte das Mikrofon kurzzeitig, danach nicht mehr. Auch nach Prüfen der Einstellungen, Neuinstallation etc. und Rückfragen beim Hersteller der App war das Ergebnis negativ. Das ist schon sehr verwunderlich bei der nicht gerade preiswerten App. Schade. Abo beendet.

Gut, aber….
Eine gute App, vor allem die KI-Funktion. Da kommt man endlich mal zum Sprechen und man sich auch vorher ein Konzept für die eigenen Rückmeldungen gegenüber der KI überlegen. Sehr gut, fast als hätte man einen Trainer vor sich. Was ich vermisse, ist ein individuelles Tracken des Lernfortschritts um die Lernprogression zu verbessern. Manche Lessons habe ich jetzt schon dreimal absolviert. Ich sehe nicht, was ich schon gemacht habe und was nicht. Kann sein, dass diese Funktion noch eingebaut werden wird. Das würde die App erheblich verbessern.

Wirklich eine großartige App! Kann quasi mit Einzelunterricht mithalten. Ich hatte nach meinem Eingangstest einige “aha-Momente”, obwohl mein Englisch ziemlich solide ist. Die Lektionen sind super ausgewählt. Die Erklärvideos sehr gut, aber notfalls kann man sie auch skippen und direkt zur Übung gelangen. Daher auch für den Test der pro Version entschieden. Seitdem stürzt die App aber leider permanent ab. Ansonsten wirklich überzeugend und erstaunlich professionell. Für diesen Preis (wenn es denn nicht abstürzt) wäre es für mich DIE App des Jahres!

Zertifikat IELTS Bug
Ich bin seit drei WochenPremium Mitglied und habe seither das Zertifikat „Get ready for IRLTS by HarperCollins (Lower)“ angefangen. Wenn ich nun allerdings Unit 8 auswähle und auf „Starten“ klicke, passiert nichts.
