Certainly not everyone will care about this, but I live in a rural area and purchased Naim speakers in large part on the idea that they'd work even when the WISP dropped. They have airplay and ability to stream from your own music server on LAN. Unfortunately, while that worked when I bought them, at some point the app was changed so that if internet is down it's completely non-functional. Refuses to even connect to added speakers, that you can load the web page on in Safari. The hardware is superb (and pricey) so it's unfortunate the app stinks now.
