I called Delta because I noticed there was a first class seat available on this flight. I’m a Platinum medallion and delta reserve card holder which I pay $650 a year now to have. I called and asked why there was a ticket available for first class and they told me it wasn’t an upgrade available seat. I then asked if I could just pay for the upgrade and I was told I couldn’t even do that. So if I had no loyalty at all to Delta and just went online and purchased that ticket I could but because I purchased a ticket and waited, I couldn’t even purchase the upgrade.
