I like this series. At first I was like, geez, there’s 12 books, and now I’m reading book eight. I liked that the heroine is a middle aged woman who not only finds love later in life but also starts a family. And the concerns around both are real. But I realize that over the series the main characters are developed and thankfully they’re not annoying. One nit-picky thing, when listening to the audiobook and the narrator does the voices of two characters from the east coast, as a native New Yorker, I’m appalled lol.
