I've only subscribed to the basic plan but it's been really helpful to see more news sources and in particular to see what stories are under reported on either end of the political spectrum and how the headlines phrase the exact same story. This is useful not only as a source of news but as a tool to observe the media and HOW they report on the news. Pro-tip: if you're in the US, you can reverse the colors on the UI spectrum band, just look for the gear icon in the settings tab.
