Our day started with a message that our flight from RDU to SFO via MNSP was delayed and that we could ‘explore’ our options for rebooking =FIRST MISTAKE. From there, a series of delays found us leaving the airport 6 hours later, booked on a flight for the next day. This happened only because we made a call to Delta’s customer service rep who told us she had no other option for us other than booking for the next day. My call was answered after being on hold for about 45 minutes while waiting at the gate to talk with an agent about rescheduling. There were 20 passengers in line ahead of me. When
