Survivor!.io is my guilty pleasure. I have been playing since launch. I took about a year-long break, before returning, and have been playing for the last year. I don't normally play "free-to-play" games — especially mobile games — and I find the monetization of such games predatory and frustrating. However, this is my one exception. The monetization IS there, but it's not overwhelming or overly annoying. The monthly pass to get rid of ads is worth it, IMO, but it is otherwise bearable.
