Transitions between islands are messed up not only because the bird doesn’t go as far into the island which is a huge error that I hope gets changed soon, but also there is a bigger cooldown on backflips between islands so the bird can’t flip as fast! Small thing but a downgrade for sure. Also ground contact physics feel different. Imperfect slides feel less punishing, resulting in perfect slides feeling less rewarding.
