The app is cumbersome, doesn’t support skip forward/back. And suddenly decided not to let me log in any more. Customer service was totally unhelpful, claiming my account was deleted because it was unused (less than 24 hours after I had used it), and there was nothing to do because “the system” controlled things and they couldn’t override it. The only option offered was to create a new account (losing all my saved data) at the same price, and even that turned out to be a lie: new price would have ben higher, and again, “nothing they can do about it”.

The software refuses to even start any more unless I create an account on their server. I used VSCO quite a bit as an editor but am not interested in the social aspect and don’t think I’m signing up for an account. The developer asked me to submit a support ticket but I don’t think it would help in this case – and anyway would require creating an account to be able to do so, which makes me think they just sent an autoresponse without even reading my review.

Keeps bugging me for a review when I just want to check for my email.

Streaks helps you form habits (if you have a mindset gamification works for). Handy features: setting tasks to be done a certain times a week; logging a task that was done yesterday (I have a chore that is done late in the evening and often I don't remember to mark it done. I can fix that the next day without losing my streakj.

Likes: always show posts in the latest first order, highlight or hide posts by keyword, customization options. Not so good: performance — program gets increasingly slow as you scroll down a long feed, cannot turn on comment notification for posts.

The game is well-designed and very addictive. I appreciate the mix of strategy and chance – when I don't succeed I can always try again and hope for a better luck. You can get quite far without the annoying need to buy stuff to advance (which is when I stop playing – I'd much rather pay for the game itself).
