Making someone click an extra time, when completely unnecessary, is just downgrading user experience. The old app allowed you to search a product, get all results, and click “add to cart” right from that screen. Now, you get all results, have to click on the product which brings you to its page, and click again to add to cart. Doesn’t seem like a big deal until you have to go through double the steps for every single product you want to add to cart.
