Too much hassle and too much data required.
I’ve been a customer since 2022, and when I tried to book recently, they required an incredible amount of my personal data. My money is green on Hotwire, so why do I need to submit a side to side selfie and front and back of my ID in order to book a room? I was told this was in order to prevent hassle, but this was all hassle.
Also, initially I was kicked off the app in the middle of a verifying myself and had to start over. This resulted in two reservations being made. I had to call customer service twice in order to complete the reservation. It ate up my time. How is this not a hassle?
