I bought the iRig and the Amplitube app, Amplitube is less noisy, has good sound quality, and the song interface is superior in that you have full control of the song, levels, and can loop a section when trying to learn a difficult part. The Amplitube app shines for noodling around and learning songs - it's worth the money for nothing more than that. It's not studio quality but for what it is, it's pretty cool.
