My experience with Marcus by Goldman Sachs has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I opened the account specifically for a promotional cash bonus and deposited a large amount of money within the required timeframe. I followed every visible step and kept the funds in the account as expected. Only after the fact was I told I would not receive the bonus because I was “not enrolled.” At no point during account setup or funding was there a clear, explicit enrollment step or confirmation.
