I’ve been using Ibis Paint X on and off for years, I started using it in 2017 as a kid on my old iPhone 6, and it’s always been a great experience. No, it’s not as deep as photoshop or procreate, but it works well on iPhone and I feel it’s a little more natural and complex than ProCreate pocket (or whatever it’s called). You can import photos, use layer effects, and use a variety of paintbrushes too. As far as I know, there’s no limit to layers which is awesome considering this is a free, advertisement based app. I think if you use it infrequently like I do, and already have a iPad with ProCre
