I have really enjoyed using this family tree. I love adding personal comments, so people can be remembered as the beautiful human beings that they are. At the same time I’ve run into a couple of challenges. For adopted children, I want to honor both the family they were born into and the family that raised them - how can both lineages be recognized? And for same-sex couples, it’s hard to fully represent their family relationships in the tree. I hope there’s a way to make this tool reflect the love and connection in every kind of family.
