Nobody is trying to turn on Picture in Picture to STAY IN YOUR APP! Get rid of that button. Make it so if a user swipes out of the app while something is playing Picture in Picture starts automatically. (Like every other video player app on the planet.) Also along the same exact line of issue. Approximately 6 in 10 times when I try to swipe out of the app in portrait mode while something is playing not in pip mode I end up swiping the list of episodes at the bottom of the screen instead of opening my app switcher.
