I was excited to find a potential option for a monitor to my Sony a6400; however, in the process of setup the app wants access to my entire photo library to do so. Unacceptable. Sony should find a monitor alternative that doesn’t require customer who have already spent hundreds or even $1K+ on a Sony camera (and lens) set up, that doesn’t require giving up something so precious as one’s entire photo collection. I’m opting to buy an actual separate monitor instead. This really has me thinking if I’ll buy Sony equipment in the future.
