The app’s pairing walkthrough didn’t work. I eventually had to plug (Ethernet) nodes into the gateway node to get them to recognize one another. Then I unplugged and placed them around the house and it seems like that’s working (I still have nodes to place but the app kicked me to the “all done, time to review” page). I was very annoyed to see that parental controls and basic security cost $99/yr. They were included in my asus zen (probably should have just bought another of those…)
