Review of Pixelmator Photo TL;DR: Great app, disappointing move to a subscription model. Disclaimer: I am an existing paid user, so for now the subscription model won't affect me. Pros: Machine Learning (ML) Enhance, ML Super Resolution and the Repair tool are worth the price of admission all by themselves. Very easy, very powerful with consistently good results. Integration with Apple Photos is superb. Export facility in iOS is better even than its big brother, Pixelmator Pro in macOS, when you use Apple Photos as your DAM. Big compliments on RAW Power. It's better than Darkroom, better than Pixelmator Photo, and more user-friendly and more intuitive than Affinity Photo for developing RAW files. Very well done!
