I read books in Spanish with the Kindle app on my iPad. A few weeks back, there must have been an update because the translation interface is a lot different. I used to be able to highlight a word or a phrase or even an entire paragraph and the translation would pop up immediately. Now I have to touch a word, touch again to dismiss that translation, touch again to drag the highlight to cover the desired passage, and touch yet again to choose “look up”.
