Hotels.scam!!

I had to cancel my trip and I had purchased ins so it wasn’t an issue. But when they refunded my money (paid with a $500 gift card I PURCHASED FOR MY TRIP) they refunded it on 4 separate gift cards! Idk that when you use their site you can only use 1 gift cards/booking so when I tried to rebook my trip I had these 4 gift cards which now limited which hotel I could stay in cuz it was only a partial amount!! Both rooms I had to choose lesser than desirable rooms and I didn’t have any money left over to get ins the 2nd time & I wasn’t paying anymore out of pocket when I had already paid $500 for
