Progressively The Guardian is the only reliable English language source of news (what has been) and opinion (what might be). I like the variety and the way in which it has stolen the ground occupied 40 years ago by both The Times and The Telegraph. It now runs neck and neck with the BBC. A Guardian television news channel would be a further great service.
