I am a commercial AV installer and have downloaded this app over a hundred times at different locations. It is ideal when you have multiple receivers in a rack for a switcher system or want to control multiple receivers in a venue from one central location. The key is to connect the receivers to your network with Ethernet cables or a deca unit via coax, and make sure your iPhone/iPad is on the same network WiFi. I also suggest that you assign static IP addresses to your receivers by going to advanced IP settings and typing over the receivers last IP address digits (with the same or new digits)
