1) the “add item” and “>” buttons on the “compact” versions of lists don’t work anymore. They don’t do anything. I miss them. 2) when I am using my Alexa list for grocery shopping, Alexa seems to go to sleep and revert back to the home screen. Then, I have to navigate back to my shopping list. Often my signal in the grocery store is very poor, so sometimes this separates me from my list completely while I am in the grocery store. Very inconvenient. Alexa should just stay on the list that I’ve chosen until I tell Alexa, I’m done with the list. 3) Alexa app has no functionality off-line at all.

I used TaskPro for years, and I’ve been using inferior workarounds and substitutes ever since it discontinued updates and lost compatibility with iOS. My favorite aspect of it was that it used tags that allowed lists to be sorted and shown under different criteria. This is very useful to me in a shopping list or a packing list, my primary uses for this type of app. I wasted countless hours on other task apps after TaskPro ended support. This app is very well-arranged to my taste - the interface and user control over content is great. But each morning I read the news on Flipboard, about 25% of the stories that I select require a subscription. You can’t tell before selecting the story whether you’re selecting a story or an ad. I just opened a story that looked interesting. The article opened long enough for me to read the first sentence, but then the article was overlaid with an opaque banner saying “to continue reading, purchase a subscription to [so-and-so online publication]”.
