OnTheWayApp gets one thing right: temperature forecasts and the “chain up / carry chains” zones were accurate. That’s it. Everything else has been unreliable. Multiple times on high-mileage trips this past week, the app showed clear road conditions and clear weather when that was absolutely not the case. It repeatedly failed to flag the stuff that actually matters for travel—slick and icy roads, fog, snowy conditions, and other hazards you need to know about before you commit to a route.
