I used to own some 4-track and 8-track cassette recorders back when I was in punk bands in high school and when I saw this classic looking app, I got really excited to try out another no-nonsense, portable studio like the old Tascam's I enjoyed back then. I read a lot of reviews about hiss when the gain levels got too high on distortion, but coming from a punk rock back ground, I think this app makes my tunes sound great!
