This app is quite fun, enough for five stars, but dots and boxes has a big problem that prevents optimal play. I like playing dots and boxes because if you know what you’re doing, you can make your opponent think they’re gonna win by a lot once you’re at the ‘end game.’ Then you can play a move that they’ll often think is a mistake at first to win the game. This is impossible in this app’s version because once you make the first box in a chain, it automatically makes all the boxes, which is often not the best play. Was really a bummer losing to my girlfriend like that. Please fix.

I love this app, but it’s missing a big part of the information about each vocab item: common combinations. They really need to add it in. Also there are a lot of bugs. Most of them are small, but some cause problems. Like being unable to read the translations for context sentences or not all the kanji that include a radical being shown in the radical’s page. Really helpful app though. Get notified immediately when you have reviews, even when you don’t have internet. And you can still do them when you don’t have internet. Useful on flights.
