I was concerned about the app given all the bad reviews. Maybe for the Naim equipment? For the headphones, it is a plus (1) no feedback (like on my 5909s) for ANC setting but simple on the app (2) personalization, being older I lose a lot over the higher spectrum; the app brightened music on a good curve which, as advertised, permits lower listening levels. Before I personalized I thought the headphones were Near-Perfect. Now I wonder as they sound almost muffled without it. That’s really because I can listen at a lower volume comfortably. The Bathys sound as wonderfully flat as the 5909s,
