Amplitube is handy on the iPhone for the occasional messing around. The clean amps sound OK but many effects etc. are pretty marginal. The IK Media iRig is a much lower quality, worse sounding and noisier guitar input than the Apogee Jam. And unfortunately the Apogee Jam does not work with Amplitube on the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. But the main problem for me is the frequent and very annoying pop-ups for in-app purchases -- and this is in a $20 app I've already purchased. I won't buy the iPad version for this app because of this. IK Media will get no support from me until they remove/allow t
