Concerned about transparency

So… been trying to get diagnosis and medication for ADHD and got suggestion from on site Doctor. Was told by the diagnostician that BCBS of AL would cover testing and it wasn’t . Now I am paying 200$ out of pocket AND it is considered out of network! Now it turns out my appointment to get meds is through a local facility where only certain practitioners are covered and the person i am scheduled with isn’t covered so this will be another wasted 120$ The app doesn’t provide accurate information!
