I played through the first two installments of this series in short order. While decent puzzle games, and gorgeous introductions to the game world and it’s somewhat steampunk aesthetic, they were a little lackluster in terms of challenge and storyline. As a result, I actually hesitated to play the third game… Boy, what a mistake that would have been. This game takes all the best aspects of the first two and successfully integrates many of the things they were missing.
