So - the appliance I am using with the app is a Bosch dishwasher. To connect the dishwasher to the app, I have to have my phone connected to our 2.4ghrz network, not the 5ghrz network. The dishwasher apparently can only see the 2.4ghrz networks. So that is fine. Easy enough to do. But - if my phone switches our 5ghrz network and I try to open the app, the app will try to connect BUT fail. Even if I change the network on my phone back to the 2.4 ghrz network it can’t connect.
