I’ve been using Day One since the beginning. They have fallen behind some other journaling apps with more customizable template options such as formatting tables without using Markdown and show no sign of motivation to add these features. Instead they’re focusing on adding fluff—things that take little development effort, like more journaling prompts. This allows them to show they’re regularly updating the app, though it doesn’t address missing features. Eventually they’ll lose people over those missing features like more customizable formatting. Rather than easy formatting of posts, you hav
