On iPhone, one could make the argument that this app doesn't really need any more power. It provides the basic functions of image editing. Probably enough for a 4.7 inch screen. On Mac, this is clearly known by the Pixelmator team. It's a compelling competitor to Photoshop for those that don't need super-duper advanced functions that only Photoshop has. But on the iPad Pro, a device I am using to write this review on, the features are severely limited.
