Good but could be better
Amazing game to bring back the child hood memories. Unfortunately “hard” difficulty level is only a matter of the computer players crashing into you, nothing more. Wish the creators of this game could be smarter and come up with a better way to make this more challenging in a more realistic way. Lots of “rubberbanding” as well.

Great game, tricky app
Such a fun and nostalgic game! My siblings and I may be into our twenties and thirties and in 3 different cities, but we still have a great time playing together! This game as an app is more difficult than playing on the computer. Group play has various shortcomings, including going to black or blue screens, randomly quitting, and lengthy waiting periods while on the same Wi-Fi. We would also love to include more than just 4 players, and be able to use all of the racetracks, including Atlantis! This app is better for single players, but know that if you update group play, we’ll be here for it!

Hey Pangea, I am having a problem installing this on my retro iPhone 3G (iOS 4.1) I get the error message "App not compatible with this iPhone". I didn't even get a prompt to downgrade! I was able to do this on my iPad first generation (iOS 5.1.1). I'm not sure if this a problem on Apple's side or mine, or yours. Please fix if possible! Unless I'm being dumb and Cro-Mag is truly unusable on iOS 4?

This game was a huge part of my early childhood, at the time there were not manny big mobile games, this is one of the ones i remember getting and likeing alot though, was sad when the apple updates made half of my childhood obsolete and unplayable, but to my suprise this game still remains playable, huge props to the dev team for letting me be able to replay my child hood

I have played Cro-Mag Rally hundreds of times and I keep coming back to it! The physics feel real, and I still enjoy it every time. My only wish is that there should be a timer, so that the player could try to better his or her quickest time on subsequent runs.

Look at the update history for this game. In a market full of games that go obsolete whenever Apple puts out an update, Cro Mag Rally powers through. It's been a great game since day one. The endless support deserves 6-7 stars at least. 5 stars will have to do. Update: Pangaea truly deserves a round of applause for supporting their games through thick and thin.

My wife and I almost get in fights after playing head to head Cro Mag racer - the multiplayer races are competitive. The game is amazingly well designed - pay attention to the music - the graphics are great and no two games are alike. The different playing modes keep me playing forever. I played this game all the time as a kid! This game is great for reliving that fun-- however, the mechanics feel SO different than the original! Partially because of the tilt controls instead of using a keyboard, but it feels a lot more... squirrelly? I also miss the winning song! Either way, totally worth the $2, and still fun almost 20 years later!

I've played Cro-Mag Rally for years on the computer. I recently found it was available for IOS. I purchased the game for $2 and tried it out. It does the original computer version justice! I look forward to getting as much out of this version as the computer version. Excellent game! My only complaints: - Can't figure out how to play the Win Song, my favorite Cro-Mag song. - You have to be sitting right for the Atlantis level. Such a good game!!!

Used to play this on the computer when it first came out, years ago. It's a fun game, but there's only 2 options for steering. Tilting and an external controller. It would be great if there was an option for an in-game steering wheel, or direction buttons.

It's racing, but with Cavemen! Another Pangea classic I had fond memories of when I was a kid, and it's great to see that it's one of the most popular iOS games! Like a lot of Pangea's games, Cro-Mag Rally follows a concept that I've always been an advocate of: Easy to play, but hard to win. Hey Pangea, love all your games! I have a suggestion though. I just got an iCade for Christmas and unfortunately there aren't a lot of games compatible with it. On the Mac you have a collection of games called Pangea Arcade I believe. Is there any chance you could release that for iPad with support for the iCade? That would rule! Since the new version has been out on the iOS 5. This game has plenty of action and fun. alot of new features have been added. You can now play on your apple tv with the iPad 2 or iphone 4s and still voice chat with online players. I have written a review on this before. I would give it 5 stars if it could mirror the sound and not only the image when using the mirroring capability of the iPad 2... I do not know why, but I couldn't write a review to the last version although I have already updated it. So I'll write here anyway. The sound isn't mirroring yet and the image isn't taking full advantage of a full hd tv, it's still small like when you mirror the desktop itself. Briefly, the update hasn't changed anything but the initial still images. Thanks anyway for trying and keep doing good work.
