Description

Basic and user friendly GPX viewer for following routes in real time. You can open a URL with a GPX file from the app. Once the app is installed you will be able to use it to open GPX files accessible from other apps such as email, online storage services, etc. Uses iOS-GPX-Framework: https://github.com/FLCLjp/iOS-GPX-Framework

GPX files not found in iOS files
Apple should delete apps that have ‘not working reviews’ after 1yr. The app opens a documents folder to dl GPX files but its empty. There’s no link to files in iOS. Such an easy fix - but clearly the developer has just parked this on App Store.

Does what it says on the tin
This works really well and as expected. I would suggest you don't use the 'Open from URL' option. As with a lot of apps, if you run this in the background it may relaunch when you bring it back to the foreground. This means it will also try to read the URL again and so requires a data connection. If you're in the middle of nowhere, exactly when you might need this app, there's a good chance you won't have a data connection and will lose the route. Instead, save the .gpx file to something like Dropbox and then open it from there in this app. Excellent customer support.

The app provides obnoxious click bait and where, and it doesn't do what it says it will. Claims to be able to import from something other than a URL, but this is completely false. Buy at your own risk
