Description

MOL Bubi is an environmentally friendly, fast and convenient mobility alternative in the city centre. Opt for the greenest means of public transport and use MOL Bubi! Download the app, find a MOL Bubi bike at one of the 158 stations and you are ready to ride within a few seconds. All this in the blink of an eye: once you have registered, you can choose the fare that best suits you, and then you will be able to read the news, give feedback, redeem a coupon or contact customer service directly. Use the QR code scanner to pick up a bike or enter the 6-digit number seen on the rear of the bike or below the seat tube. The smart lock in the back will open with a loud click, and after the beep, you can start cycling. In the app, you can track how long you have been riding. When you are ready to finish cycling, just return the bike to any station and dock it into a free slot. Lock the bike by pressing down the lever on the smart lock until it clicks.

I typed in my number and it never sent me my pin. I am from the U.S. and used country code +1 and also tried 00. Neither worked and then it said I requested my pin too many times. Donkey republic app works great so we went with them instead.

happy rider - for the most part
i have jist started using MoL in budapest! availability of kiosks and bikes are good! however some bikes are very badly maintained and are not supported to be on the road! brakes creaking and not working well! tires not inflated properly! metal part clanging! But if you look beyond all those kinks, it’s a very efficient way of getting around this bike friendly city! why did it take me 5 years to find this bike app out! i mean i have seen it all over town and the front door of my building even has a kiosk! Nonetheless, i am happy i signed up! and for 1000 huf a month! it’s a NO brainer! Go

Easy to use!
Download the app, create a profile, validate your identity, enter your payment card, scan the QR code of the bike you want to rent, ride it around, return it to the docking station at your destination, and then finish by lowering the locking lever below the seat. MUCH Better Than It Used To Be
I tried to use this app three years ago and it ended in frustration. The only trouble I had this time was the initial registration. If you’re from outside of Hungary, it’s difficult to register your phone #. I kept putting in my country code, yet didn’t get sent a link. Use the website and put in your email—it’ll work easily. After that, it’s terrific. I had five separate bikes around Budapest one day for a total of $2.64 USD. AMAZING. 1st bike was a bit dodger, all others terrific. Great experience.
