Description
The 737 Performance app for your iPad and iPhone, is an electronic reference guide for professional airline pilots flying a large civil (Class A) twin jet like the Boeing 737, but may also be useful for airline dispatchers and be interesting for trainees.
This app contains some very useful TOOLS like:
- LANDING DISTANCE & BRAKE COOLING CALCULATOR for various B737 models (CL/NG/MAX)
- GO-AROUND (GRADIENT AND LIMIT WEIGHT) CALCULATOR for various B737 models (CL/NG/MAX)
- Runway Condition Report (GRF) decoder with runway visualization
- Actual stop margin calculator (based on the TAS-effect).
- Wind Components / VREF Additive Calculator
- Interactive adjustment of V1 to visualize the accelerate-stop and accelerate-go distance.
Besides the tools, the app contains all a pilot or dispatcher needs to know about aircraft performance for large civil twin jet aircraft in general and for the Boeing 737 in special. Due to commonality, the information in this app may also serve as reference for other Boeing types.
Performance regulations of the worlds 2 main rule making agencies, EASA and FAA, are incorporated, as well as ICAO definitions and remarks. You can switch between the two editions any time.
This app explains (EASA/FAA) regulations (based on ICAO) in lots of colorful pictures and additional remarks and you can navigate through BASIC PERFORMANCE NOTES, divided into TAKEOFF (covering a.o. legal performance requirements, reduced takeoff thrust), ENROUTE (covering a.o. cruise altitude/speed, driftdown) and LANDING Performance chapters (covering a.o. dispatch/inflight requirements) and also through the various performance data provided by Boeing in the chapters under PERFORMANCE DATA.
In the DATA APPLICATION chapters you can learn how these data are applied based on the actual situation and also other valuable operational information is available.
Also computerized performance tool remarks are put in and the contents are updated/expanded regularly.
This app includes the following features:
- powerful keyword search functionality, with adjustable outcome.
- bookmark option
- text resize
- a glossary containing definitions with links to applicable chapters
- EASA and FAA editions, with unlimited switches between the editions.
- iPhone support
Subscription details:
Users who purchased the early edition (before version 2.0) of this app (which has no Tools section) will get an automatic update for free (except for the Tools section) and can subscribe for only the Tools section at a reduced amount.
New users (as from version 2.0) subscribe for the complete app.
The subscription includes both EASA and FAA versions.
Your subscription runs for a period of 1 year, starting the date of in-app purchase. There is no free trial period. The subscription fee is about 10 Dollar/Euro per year for the complete app (applicable to new users) and about 5 Dollar/Euro per year for only the Tools section (applicable to original users). The exact price depends on local taxes and is displayed inside the app.
A single subscription can be used on multiple devices (iPad / iPhone) as long as these devices run the same Apple-ID.
Your subscription runs until the end of the current period and in between cancellation and refund of your current subscription are not possible. Your app-store account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, therefore your subscription is automatically renewed, unless your subscription is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can turn-off Auto-Renewal by going to your account settings, anytime after your initial purchase.
