Designed with a simple tape recording style and with many features for creative and more advanced music recording. Includes a pendulum-style Metronome with options for creating Perfect Loops and duplicating your recordings to loop as many times as you’d like. Features options for merging all of your tracks in to allow for unlimited recording possibilities. You can also export your songs via Dropbox, Email, SMS, and iTunes File Sharing. Multi Track Song Recorder is the perfect iOS app for musicians looking to write and record simple songs at home or on the move! I’ve had this app since it came out but now I have no accessibility using voiceover. Bummed because I have a bunch of songs in here. Please fix.

Great App, not worth the $$$ though
Crashes the majority of the time it’s used, making it very difficult to import/export. If it had a file conversion, might not crash. The files are too big and take up a lot of data.

I bought pro for 1 reason....
I upgraded to pro for 1 reason, to merge the tracks and export them. So I try to merge the tracks and it gets to 100% then freezes. Every time. You guys need to fix this, should be an easy fix. If you plan on merging tracks and exporting them, don’t use this app.

Very Frustrating, as it freezes!
I was using the free version and every time I try to merge the tracks, it freezes and does not mix and send anywhere! I tried to record 5 times and merge, but with no success! I am trying now the pro version. If this does not work, I will let the developers know!

Good start
I like the simple design for getting rhythm and lead ideas down for guitar, but there are two issues that are no good: Sometimes it lags, so it’s not recording in sync with the other tracks, which basically defeats the entire purpose of the app. Would like it 10x better if you could pan the tracks left and right.

Excellent app, needs to be more accessible
This is an excellent app. However, it needs to be more accessible. VoiceOver support needs to be added, and it could be nice to add the magic tap for playback of all tracks. The magic tap is the 2 finger dubble tap. It’s used to play/pause audio, and other actions. Overall, not bad.

OK Voice Memos replacement
As Apple continues to make Voice Memos less useful by making it more confusing to use and harder to sync, this simple app makes a decent replacement. Couple of issues for me: Metronome noticeably stumbles. Also, a strobing spot would be better as seeing the arm graphic from even a short distance or at an angle isn’t easy. App does not tag exported audio with artist, year, etc. Would be useful for smart playlists in iTunes or file searches.

DON'T BUY - Tracks won't sync, useless
I'm a professional drummer and record for a living, this isn't an input thing... The tracks are often a 16th note off. And the metronome doesn't keep anything close to time -- it's useless. I love the app idea and the free version used to work, so I thought "maybe pro will actually sync up" and purchased. NOPE. Unfortunately, I have to recommend against this one. Without tracks syncing, a MULTI TRACK recorder is a useless.

I don't know what MTSR stands for but the only pro thing that you've shown me is how you (this company) must be pros at stealing peoples money with an app that is truly unusable at best... I am most serious in the statement that this is by far the most worthless piece of garbage I've ever spent money on & I want my money back, pretty please with lack of recording on top... For any of you out there who are considering purchasing this app you may as well take that five dollar bill & give it to your worst enemy because it'll bring you far less frustration than purchasing this app ever will… I wis

Out of sync
I agree with the person who says the tracks aren't in sync (I'm on iPad Air first gen with up-to-date IOS). I've tried quite a few test runs with some very simple 4-part a Capella pieces that I have previously recorded, and in the final playback the tracks are off. I use n-track on my computer for more sophisticated arrangements, but thought this would be handy to have on my iPad when I'm just playing around with ideas. It was only $2, so I didn't have high hopes but thought I'd give it a try. I'm going to try something more expensive in the hopes that, in this case, price equals quality.

Great for capturing ideas
I've been using either my iPhone video or voice recorder to capture riff or song ideas with my mandolin or acoustic guitar. Problem with those apps is that they are one dimensional. Now, with this app I am able to throw down a quick idea, another on top of it, see how melody line might sound, work out a solo and test different changed in a heartbeat. Less of a pain to use than one of my expensive Boss multi-track recorder and just faster but mainly more convenient. Editing is not available and I quickly found myself wanting to use most of a track but couldn't because I could not cut a part out

I have really enjoyed this app. I have a love of music; especially creating songs. I enjoy singing and harmonizing with the tracks that I create. It is a very easy app to learn. Perfect for what is intended
Our cell phones won't be using Pro Tools, Cubase, Sonar or Reaper in full versions anytime soon - forget rating according to all the dreams we project onto a simple app. This is handy, simple, fast, and all I need to remember the bits and pieces of inspiration that leap to mind unannounced. I am also surprised at how well it reduces the sound of the existing track(s) as it records the next. Fun and functional - what else can be asked of a little app?

Great update - a few more fixes needed
Thanks for the update and upgrade. The most glaring thing missing is the abilty to monitor the input device. I use a Tascam iZX Mic & Guitar interface whichs allows for monitoring as long as the app is set up to do so. While the Tascam recording app alllows for this, it is only for single track recording. Also, the app shuts down if the iPhone locks. As well, this app will not operate in the background, which would be helpful especially with referencing lyrics stored via a seperate app such as Notes. a noticable bug is that when you email tracks it sends mutliple duplicate emails - about 10
