Naqio is a halal food scanner that verifies instead of guessing. Scan a barcode or photograph an ingredient label, and Naqio checks it against a curated database of 427 E-numbers and food additives, then shows you a clear verdict, with the source behind every call. Most apps give you one answer. Naqio gives you two. Every product is checked on two axes: the ingredients and the meat or slaughter status, so you know exactly why something is halal, haram, or doubtful. Naqio is built to be cautious by design. When an ingredient is unclear, it is never called halal. A doubtful item stays doubtful, because the worst mistake a halal checker can make is a false "approved." Analysis runs on your device. No account, no ads, no tracking, and the verdict engine works fully offline, in the store aisle, at the restaurant, or anywhere your signal drops. When you scan a label by photo and allow cloud reading, the label photo is sent — with your consent, downscaled and with location data removed — to Google Cloud Vision, a text-recognition service acting solely as our data processor to extract the text; it is not used to train any models.
