The Care Card

The Care Card keeps the essential health and care information for the person you look after in one place, ready to share in seconds. If you care for a parent, partner, child, or client, you carry a lot in your head: their conditions, their medications, who their doctors are, what they are allergic to, and who to call in an emergency. The Care Card holds all of it as a single care summary you can show to anyone who needs it, just by letting them scan a QR code. WHAT YOU CAN KEEP - The person's details and a photo - Practitioners and specialists - Diagnoses and structured medications (dose, frequency, timing) - Allergies, with clear anaphylaxis and EpiPen flags - Emergency contacts - Appointments, notes, and questions for the next visit HOW IT WORKS Your care summary is built into a QR code and stored on your device. Show the code to a paramedic, a hospital, a new GP, or a respite carer, and they can scan it to see the summary straight away. They do not need the app to view it. You can also print or share a PDF, or save appointments to your phone calendar. PRIVATE BY DESIGN The Care Card has no online account and no login, and your care details are never sent to a server. Everything lives in the QR code and on your device, so you stay in control of it. Lock the app with Face ID for an extra layer of privacy.
