Soriel computes your chart where it belongs: on your device. No internet, no API, no waiting on a server — and nothing revealed about you. The app uses high-precision JPL DE440 ephemeris data (NASA/JPL), pre-processed and fully bundled inside the app. Every calculation is deterministic: the same input always yields the same result. FEATURES • Graphical natal chart — your birth chart as a clear, interactive zodiac wheel. • Current Sky — transits for any place and any moment. • Placidus, Koch, Equal and Whole Sign house systems — Swiss-Ephemeris-compatible cusps that match professional software. Automatic fallback to Equal near the poles. • Ten celestial bodies plus the mean lunar node, with the AC, MC, DC and IC angles. • Aspects with adjustable orbs — major aspects and optional minor aspects, shown as an aspectarian grid and a sorted list. • Panels: Overview, Planets, Houses, Aspects and Statistics (elements, modalities, hemispheres, retrograde planets, stelliums, chart ruler, angular houses). • Offline city search across roughly 34,000 places, with the correct historical UTC offset derived automatically for the birth date. • Create, edit and delete as many birth profiles as you like. • Explain mode: tap any element — planet, sign, house, aspect or a section of the reading — to see a factual definition (or the method behind it) alongside the live values from your chart. PRIVACY BY DESIGN Soriel makes no network connections at all. There is no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising identifiers and no account. Your birth profiles stay only on your device. DATA FIRST The free core shows pure data — positions, houses, aspects and statistics — instrument-precise and without esoteric fuzz. No interpretation in the foundation. TIERS Interpretation and personalization come as deliberately separate, optional in-app purchases on top: Soriel+ Natal — the synthesised reading of your birth chart, weighted and source-cited, for any number of profiles (one-time) — and Soriel+ (transits, daily and weekly forecasts, progressions, annual profections, solar return — subscription, planned).
